Clara is a doctoral student in historical musicology. She is a graduate of the Universidad de Valladolid (MA, 2014; BA, 2013). She is interested in early music, opera and theatre. Her dissertation investigates the circulation of musicians between the courts of Spain, France, and Italy during the 17th century, with special attention to the mobility incited by the displacement of aristocratic women and their courts following treaties and the arrangement of dynastic intermarriages.
