The Vietnamese Language Program and the Asia Center are pleased to announce the visit to Harvard of French filmmaker François Bibbone, director of the 2023 documentary Once Upon a Bridge in Vietnam. In this film, the director returns to Vietnam, the country of his grandmother, and explores the country through the lens of classical music. The official event will include a short performance by student musicians, a screening of the film, hor d’ouevres, and a Q&A with the director. It will take place on Thursday March 28th, 2024, 6-8 PM in the Lowell House Screening Room (entrance at 10 Holyoke Place, downstairs).
