Christoph Wolff Distinguished Visiting Scholar Residency: Tembembe Ensamble Continuo

The Department of Music is thrilled to welcome Tembembe Ensamble Continuo as the 2025 Christoph Wolff Distinguished Visiting Scholar. Tembembe Ensamble Continuo combines music of the Spanish and Mexican Baroque guitar with today’s traditional Mexican songs. Tembembe Ensamble Continuo has earned praise in Mexico, the Americas, Europe, and Asia for their truly novel interpretation of this flourishing music.
