Bartók’s Folk Song Arrangements in Critical Edition: A Presentation and Performance

This event is hosted by The Committee in Degrees in Folklore and Mythology and The Milman Parry Collection of Oral Literature, with support from the Department of Music. 

Musicologists Vera Lampert and Viola Biró will introduce and talk about their work as editors of the recent Volume 10, Folk Song Arrangements, from the Béla Bartók Complete Critical Edition (published by Henle Verlag, Munich, and Editio Musica, Budapest).  Selections will be performed by singer Ann Moss and composer-pianist Ketty Nez.
