FAS Current: New piano, a "unicorn that can do everything," arrives at Sanders Theatre

The FAS Current recently featured the new Steinway Model D in Sanders Theatre, with insights from Professor Vijay Iyer and the Piano Technical Services team. “This is probably the finest sounding piano I’ve ever been personally involved with in my long career here, and in the business in general,” Senior Concert Technician and 2025 Harvard Hero Paul Rattigan told reporter Eileen O'Grady. “I’m so excited to hear it on stage, and confident that anyone who comes in is going to find it more than adequate for their needs.”
