Conducted by Hana Cai, this performance brings together the </span><a href="http://www.radcliffechoralsociety.com/">Radcliffe Choral Society</a><span>, </span><a href="https://hrcm.org/">Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum</a><span>, and the </span><a href="https://harvardgleeclub.org/">Harvard Glee Club</a><span>, joined by soloists and an ensemble of two pianos and percussion.</span></p><p><span>One of the most recognizable choral-orchestral works of the twentieth century, </span><em><span>Carmina Burana</span></em><span> (1936) sets texts from a medieval collection of 254 poems and dramatic texts from the 11th, 12th centuries, and 13th centuries. Written in Latin, &nbsp;Middle High German, and old Arpitan, the texts explore themes of fate and fortune, the changing seasons, drinking songs, and love.</span></p><p>Tickets: $15/General Admission; $5/Harvard Students; $25/Preferred Seating</p>
