Department Chair and Walter W. Naumburg Professor of Music **Alejandro L. Madrid** was recently named to the 2025 ALX100 by We Are ALX, a group of exceptional Latino leaders across Massachusetts.

We Are ALX is a non-partisan, collaborative non-profit with the mission of advancing Latino American prosperity and leadership representation in Massachusetts. The **ALX100** recognizes exceptional Latino American leaders who have demonstrated excellence and have made significant contributions in their respective fields and communities.
