## with Harvard Glee Club, Radcliffe Choral Society, and Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum

The Harvard Choruses present Carl Orff’s *Carmina Burana* as part of [Arts Fest](https://calendar.college.harvard.edu/harvardartsfestival). Conducted by Hana Cai, this performance brings together the [Radcliffe Choral Society](http://www.radcliffechoralsociety.com/), [Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum](https://hrcm.org/), and the [Harvard Glee Club](https://harvardgleeclub.org/), joined by soloists and an ensemble of two pianos and percussion.

One of the most recognizable choral-orchestral works of the twentieth century, *Carmina Burana* (1936) sets texts from a medieval collection of 254 poems and dramatic texts from the 11th, 12th centuries, and 13th centuries. Written in Latin, Middle High German, and old Arpitan, the texts explore themes of fate and fortune, the changing seasons, drinking songs, and love.

Tickets: $15/General Admission; $5/Harvard Students; $25/Preferred Seating
